Parking

Parking is available at the park but it is limited, so please do you best to carpool on the day of the event to save space for the BioBlitz attendees.

Sign up for your preferred role at the BioBlitz

 

Positions

  • General help:     
    Help with event set up and/or breakdown

  • Taxa identification resource:     
    Stand/walk in the area of the organizational tables and remain available to provide general help on specific taxa and with iNaturalist

  • Walk leader:     
    Take groups on scheduled walks and teach about your taxon as you go.

  • Speaker:     
    Give short scheduled talks

  • Table staff:
    Stand at your organization's booth.

 

Sign up for as many or as few as you want

Organizations

  • If you want to have more than two people at your table - email me the number of additional people requested for each timeslot.

  • If you are not going to have a table, let me know to remove it from the sign-up list.

Join the CWNCD BioBlitz iNauralist Project

Make sure to join the iNaturalist project before you show up to the event, as the cell service is not great at the park. There is a QR Code for the project that included in the Graphics Zip below.

Once complete, please email the signed PDF to:  Amanda.Whispell@ColonialSWCD.org by June 1.

Important notes:

  • Do not complete the form in the browser - you should download it, complete all required fields, then make sure to resave it

  • Use your surname as the file name

  • The form must be signed using your digital signature in Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader 

 

If you have difficulty with the digital signature: 
you can learn how to create and insert a digital signature by following these directions

Alternatively, you are also welcome to:

  • Print the completed form, sign it, scan it, and then email it to me (any format, I can convert)

  • Print the completed form, sign it, and bring it to the BioBlitz - but don't forget it, as you cannot volunteer without submitting it.
