Colonial Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Directors Elections

Writer: Amanda WhispellAmanda Whispell

We recently spoke to Wayne Davis about what it means to him to be a director on the Colonial Soil and Water Conservation District's Board of Directors. Today we are hearing a little more from another director, Dave Beals, who is one of the representatives from the City of Williamsburg. If you are curious to learn more about what it is like to be a CSWCD director, then watch the video below to find out if you might want to consider running for a position on our Board in the general election this November.

The election of Directors for the CSWCD will be held in the general election on November 7, 2023. CSWCD encompasses James City County, Charles City County, York County, New Kent County, and the city of Williamsburg. Candidates for elected directors must reside within the boundary of the city of Williamsburg or one of these counties (including the incorporated towns within the county). Prospective candidates must complete the required forms and file them by 7:00 p.m. on June 20, 2023. If the individual satisfied all filing requirements, their name will appear on the ballot for the November 7, 2023 general election. Learn more on the State Board of Elections Website.
